Amber necklaces are not only beautiful, but they are also a must-have for soothing a cranky teether. They are hand beaded in Lithuania with certified natural healing amber from the Baltic Sea and vary 12-14" in length. Each necklace features a screw clasps and individually knotted beads for safety. Colors may vary slightly from those pictured.
What is Amber? Amber is fossilized tree resin, which has been appreciated for its color and natural beauty since Neolithic times. Amber has long been used in folk medicine for its healing properties. Amber and extracts were used from the time of Hippocrates in ancient Greece for a wide variety of treatments through the Middle Ages and up until the early twentieth century.
How is it used? Because Amber is not a rock, the oils can still be absorbed through the skin. Amber is a natural remedy for pain relief, healing and can boost the immune system. It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties which make it ideal as a natural homeopathic product for teething babies. These necklaces are NOT intended to be chewed.
What Is Hazelwood? Hazelwood comes from the branches of Corylus cornuta, a widespread indigenous bush that grows throughout many regions of Canada. Harvesting the twigs doesn’t affect the vitality of the bush, which grows back continuously after pruning.
How is it used? This wood has been traditionally used for its medicinal properties for centuries by indigenous people. Hazelwood has many natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
I began using cloth diapers in 2011 with my oldest daughter. I was frustrated that most had a feature I liked but not another, and most brands were way out of my price range! I started designing my own diapers, which allowed me to combine all of the features that I loved into one affordable organic cloth diaper. I founded Wink and began selling on small online marketplaces. Overwhelming customer support and grassroots marketing allowed me to expand into larger markets and retail locations within the first year.
Throughout the years, I've had opportunities to work with some amazing charitable organizations such asThe Rebecca FoundationandLa Leche League, as well as many fellow work at home mom-marketers and bloggers. I enjoy teaching cloth diapering classes and educating communities about cloth diapers. I personally used Wink Diapers with all three of my children from newborn through potty training. I've been blessed with the opportunity to turn something that I'm passionate about into my life's work, but I also get to spend every day at home with the most important thing in my life, my kids. Wink has grown tremendously, but as a work at home mom, I am still committed to a personal, customer driven philosophy.

Our Products
What you put on your baby's skin is important. That's why we use organic fabrics made of sustainable materials such as Bamboo and Hemp. Our waterpoof fabric is TPU. Unlike PUL, which is chemical bonded, TPU is heat bonded. It contains less chemicals, and is made using a safer, more environmentally friendly process.
Many of our products are manufactured here in Greensboro, NC. Although, in a competitive marketplace, providing affordable products makes it necessary for us to use some international manufacturing as well. We only partner with manufacturers that utilize fair trade practices, including minimum wages, safe working environments, and environmental sustainability such as the prohibition of GMO's. All our fabrics are certified to Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 and the CPSIA.
